Desire for Freedom, Freedom from Pain…

We all have an innate desire to walk in this world with ease and freedom, freedom from pain, freedom from suffering…

What if this shift is not as hard as our mind makes it to be?

What if we’re just a breath away from inhaling freedom?

As we make the shift of becoming an observer of all the ways we stay stuck in our own suffering, our own story, we start to breathe into the freedom, that’s our birthright.

Do you know that we all have a compulsive need to create and then stay in our suffering? Because of our rigid ways of thinking and seeing what is so obvious and visible to our eyes and mind and we find it hard to go beyond that rigidity and righteousness.

How ironical that we are so righteous about our stories!

We are constantly looking for language, making meaning of everything, that happens and has happened with us in the past. Whether it’s pain, guilt, shame, happiness, pleasure, inaction, wrong-doing or right-doing (by self or others), we’re constantly creating these stories in our head.

The more we pin point them, define them, identify with them and shape them with our perspectives, the more concrete and fixed they become (while they were ever changing).

These words, labels, definitions then become never changing illusion, which has such strong hold on our psyche, on how we see ourselves and our world, that we can’t loosen ourselves from their grip.

We look for reasons, justifications and support from others, just to hold on these crippling, freedom stealing stories; and it keep sucking the joy out of our being and we become more and more exhausted in life.

We keep going back to the heart of our wounds, and try to find solace in ‘the why’- why I’m like this, or the way others are, as our logical ego mind loves explanations and stories, to keep us mired in those justifications and dark illusions.

While our heart is seeking light, and we just need to open up to the love in front of us to let the light in.

If we allow ourselves to become fluid like water, so flexible in our ways of observing, we’d stop robbing ourselves of the joy of this thing called life and our being (which is already one with all that is).

We just need to become aware, every time we tighten ourselves, close ourselves in the face our old stories and breathe through them to soften ourselves, open ourselves to love, and be flexible enough to look with new perspectives, perspective of kindness, self-love and compassion.

And notice that nothing is permanent. Not even our story. It’s a matter of past.

We only have this moment. And this moment will pass too.

Would you allow yourself to connect with this moment, love in this moment and let go of whatever you’re holding on, in your mind, in your heart that doesn’t exist in this existence, at all.

Would you open your arms and chest, your heart and soul, look up in the sky and say to yourself, I no more hold on to my old stories. I no more wallow in this pain.

I come to the present moment with love. Where, there’s no story, no suffering.

When I am in here and now. There is only freedom. There is only love.

I breathe in this freedom. In this love.

I choose love, for myself, and others.

I choose freedom, freedom from my past, my story, my personality. I become free.

I am light. I am love. I am divine, walking along with other divine beings.

Remember the truth dear one, Remember.

You are not your story, no matter how true that seems to you.

As you drop your story and come to the light of your higher truth, notice how you feel…

You have access to this freedom right now, in your next breath.

Remember, YOU ARE FREE.
